Celebrate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We will be virtually celebrating the Life of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 17, 2022

For children: Join us for a series of virtual readings and activities throughout the day to engage and expand your social justice awareness as young activist. The readings are 1/2 hour in length, take place each hour.

Please note: This event will take place virtually. Children that would like to participate are also able to pick up a bookmark, crayons, certificate, a coloring book, and their own copy of a social justice children’s book while supplies last.

Timeslots:

9-10am: A is for Activist, read by a resident from Willow Valley Communities
10-11am: Sweet Smell of Roses, read by Sophie Yost, senior at Manheim Township High School
11-12pm: Be A King, read by Jae Whitlow, Millersville University
12-1pm: A is for Activist, read by Lenwood Sloan
