Trauma Process Yoga Group
This is a twelve week series intended for women who have experienced trauma, particularly sexual violence. It is a research backed model that focuses on five tenets known to help with the healing of trauma: structure/routine, socialization, movement, kind and compassionate words, and creativity. This group is open to individuals who identify as female and are over the age of 18. It is necessary that all group members are engaged in individual counseling. Please note that this is a process support group that utilizes yoga as one of several interventions. Other interventions include: grounding/meditation, psychoeducation, discussion, and journaling.
