Sexual Assault Hotline Meet & Greet

SAPCC provides support, advocacy, and no-cost counseling for victim survivors of sexual abuse, for significant others, and for other family members. We also provide primary prevention education programs across the county.

We are currently looking for more volunteers to join our team! We will be hosting a no-cost information session about becoming a hotline volunteer on Wednesday, August 30th at Southern Market from 5-7pm. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, dessert and beverages will be provided, and there will be staff available to talk with guests about our bi-annual hotline training classes and how to get involved.

The Sexual Assault Hotline is operated by trained staff and volunteers. Callers may utilize the hotline for several reasons, including, but not limited to: crisis intervention services, questions about resources and referrals related to sexual violence; inquiries about counselling; and requests to provide medical advocacy at local hospitals.
