A Social Justice Film + Discussion Series

Mobilize Through Movies is a monthly series hosted by YWCA Lancaster that focuses on social justice related films, series, and videos. Events will be taking place virtually on Zoom. For more information check out our Facebook page.

This August we will be discussing the Netflix documentary Crip Camp. The film follows the activism and community within a group of disabled youth fighting for disability rights and justice.
This event’s panelists include:
  • Maureen Westcott, Executive Director of The Arc Lancaster Lebanon, where she works on issues affecting families and people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
  • Jennifer Weise, disability rights advocate.
