Primary Prevention

YWCA Lancaster’s Primary Prevention program is designed to prevent assault before it occurs by focusing on conditions that reduce violence. These efforts are culturally and age appropriate, collaborative, evidence-based, and address multiple levels of society (individual, relationship, and community). Our program goals center around the education and behavioral changes needed to create environments that are free from violence.
