Christelle Thaw-Bolton, M.Ed (she/her)

Senior Director of YWonderful Kids

Christelle Thaw-Bolton has been involved with YWCA Lancaster since she was 9 mos. old learning to swim in the pool.  She attended YWCA camp as a school age student and made her way back to YWCA Lancaster in 2002 to become the Center Director for the YWCA McCaskey Child Development Center.  In 2014, when the YWCA McCaskey program closed, she became the Center Director of the Child Enrichment Center on Lime Street until 2018.  Most recently, she returned to the YWCA as the Senior Director of Child Enrichment Programs in 2023.

Christelle lives in Lancaster and is a proud alumnus of J.P. McCaskey High School.  She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Walden University in Early Childhood Studies; a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and Elementary Education from Albright College, and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Harrisburg Area Community College.

Christelle fully supports and lives by the mission of YWCA Lancaster, eliminating racism, and empowering women.
