YWCA Lancaster Announces 2021 Women of Achievement Honorees and Awards Ceremony

Lancaster, PA (September 1, 2021) –YWCA Lancaster is pleased to announce four honorees for the 5th Annual YWCA Lancaster’s Women of Achievement Awards. Each of these deserving women exemplifies both excellence in their careers and advancement of YWCA’s mission through work or volunteerism.

The four honorees are:
• Starleisha Michelle Gingrich, Executive Director, Disrupt Theatre Company
• Dr. Cherise Hamblin, OB/GYN, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health; Founder & President, Patients R Waiting
• Norma Vazquez, Certified Lactation Counselor, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health; Founder and Birth & Postpartum Doula, Mama La Lechera
• Sobeida Rosa, Campaign Communications Specialist, CASA; Co-Founder, Lancaster Changemakers’ Collective and first recipient of the Cheryl Gahring Young Woman Award for women 25 years of age and under.

The Women of Achievement Awards will take place on Friday, October 15, 2021, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel in Lancaster, PA. The event will include video profiles of each Honoree and their remarkable achievements. Tickets are available for $75 per person or $600 for a table of 8.
