Every brain works differently, and that’s not something to fix. It’s something to recognize, value, and support.
In a room, people process information in unique ways. Some think visually rather than verbally, others notice patterns and details that go unseen, and some bring creative insights that challenge our traditional approaches. Yet many spaces and workplaces are built around a narrow definition of how people “should” think and work, which can unintentionally create barriers and require neurodivergent people to adapt, mask, or overextend just to meet expectations.
This session invites participants to shift that perspective. Through open discussion and practical strategies, attendees will deepen their understanding of neurodiversity, identify where common barriers exist, and learn how to foster an environment where different ways of thinking are supported and valued. The goal is to create spaces and teams where everyone can show up as they are, and do their best work because of it, not in spite of it.
Two Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits are available for attending Justice Now sessions.
