Join us for our series of book readings at public libraries across Lancaster County, where we’ll share stories that foster empathy, resilience, and empowerment.

Through the power of storytelling, we can start important conversations, build a culture of respect and support, and work toward a world free from violence.   Below is a list of locations for our book readings:

“My Magical Feelings” by Becky Cummings and “I Am Peace: A Book of Mindfulness” by Susan Verde will be read at the following libraries:

Visit Lancaster Public Libraryduring the month of April to find both book displays, for both adults and children, curated by YWCA Lancaster’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Counseling Center to bring awareness to sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. Find books for children centering on topics of feelings, boundaries, and coping strategies. As well as books for adults with themes of trauma responses and lived experiences of victim survivors.
