YWCA Lancaster Mourns the Loss of Cheryl Gahring

It is with great sadness, grief, and heartbreak we share the loss of our colleague, Cheryl Gahring.  Cheryl was part of YWCA Lancaster for over fourteen yearsIn that time, she served in several roles culminating in Chief Impact Officer.  Cheryl truly lived our mission.  Her passioncommitment and love were reflected in our programs, relationships with residentschildren and staff, the building projects, indeed the entire agency.  She most recently persevered through this time of pandemic by searching for program funding; supporting our virtual events and encouraging staff through all the changes we endured. We share our deepest condolences with her family and friends as we try to regain our footing in a YWCA without her. We hope to share information regarding arrangements or memorials at a later time.
