YWCA Lancaster Announces the Addition of Adam Hosey as Chief Equity Officer
Lancaster, Pa. (June 23, 2021) YWCA Lancaster announces the selection of Adam Hosey to serve as the first Chief Equity Officer in the agency’s history. The role is key to supporting the growth of the Center for Racial and Gender Equity and the many requests for partnership, training and support received by YWCA Lancaster. Hosey’s responsibilities include leading a county-wide Racial Equity Profile in partnership with many local entities as well as oversight of the Center for Racial and Gender Equity.Adam moved to Lancaster seven years ago by way of Philadelphia and Delaware County. Although there was some hesitancy at first, he says, “When I first moved here from Philadelphia, I saw the mission of YWCA Lancaster plastered on the side of its beautiful building and I knew everything would be ok. I look forward to working with an agency who takes their mission so seriously and is focused on lasting change.
