(May 21, 2019) – Nominations are now being accepted for the 3rd Annual Women of Achievement Luncheon. YWCA Lancaster is excited to host this Luncheon which will honor six deserving women in our community and help to raise money and awareness for YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.The Women of Achievement Luncheon celebrates women who have demonstrated qualities of leadership and excellence in their personal and professional endeavors, whether or not they hold a prominent position. This is for the “unsung heroes” in our community, women on a mission, who dare to make a difference!The Awards Luncheon will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Lancaster.We are very excited to have Dr. Tererai Trent as our keynote speaker. Dr. Trent, an inspiring scholar, educator, humanitarian, motivational speaker and author, has been distinguished as Oprah's all-time favorite guest.
