YWCA Lancaster Announces new CEO

Lancaster, Pa. (September 17, 2019) – YWCA Lancaster is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacie Blake as its new CEO.  Ms. Blake began work at the agency in early September.

Ms. Blake has over fifteen years of senior management experience at local, state and national levels in the social sector.  Her background includes leading a variety of social service agencies and programs in multiple states.  Most recently she served as the Director of Government and Community Relations with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants in Washington, DC.

Susan Peipher, YWCA Lancaster Board Chair, said: “After a rigorous national search process we are delighted that Stacie Blake has agreed to join YWCA as the CEO.  She brings significant experience and expertise that is directly relevant to our mission.  She has the commitment and drive to take our agency to the next level of impact and community engagement.  I am pleased we were able to attract someone with this caliber, record and potential and look forward to working with her to further our mission.”

Regarding her new role, Stacie Blake added: “YWCA Lancaster has a legacy of service in this community and so many people have already shared their personal connection to the agency.  I’m looking forward to working with this team to increase the impact of our mission to eliminate racism and empower women across the community.”
