Full-time Lead Clinician

YWCA Lancaster is looking for a dedicated and dynamic person to fill a full-time role of Lead Clinician. The person filling this position will specifically provide individual and group therapeutic interventions for people who have experienced trauma. They will assist in training and supporting the professional development of our counseling team and volunteers. This position will assist and maintain special projects as they relate to the primary prevention of sexual harassment, abuse, and assault.

A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or related field required. Candidate must hold Licensure or be License eligible. Experience in counseling and public speaking preferred. Candidates must possess the desire and ability to embody the YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

Part-time Building Manager.

YWCA Lancaster is seeking Part-time Building Manager. This position will be 25 hours a week and will oversee maintenance of our historical building located in Lancaster City. 

 

The person in this position will oversee general facilities operations at an active building open to the public; oversee the maintenance staff; ensure that regular maintenance is performed and deficiencies are identified in timely manner; manage external contractor relationships, renegotiating external service contracts as required; coordinate response to building system failures and diagnose their cause.  The Building Manager will supervise special building repair and maintenance projects. 

 

Candidates should have three or more years of experience in facility management or closely related field.  Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, and other maintenance-related areas required and knowledge of historical buildings a plus. Skills in supervision, budget management and  project management. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Full-time Director of Development

YWCA Lancaster seeks a full-time Director of Development. This role involves leading fundraising initiatives and events, working with board members and building relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff. The Development Director will also implement major giving and planned giving fundraising strategies.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of development experience; preferably in the education or nonprofit fields. Knowledge of Lancaster County required. Experience working with board and volunteers along with the ability to handle confidential information is critical. Excellent communication skills required. Salesforce experience preferred.

Bilingual Counselor and Educator

YWCA Lancaster is looking for a dedicated and dynamic person to fill a role of Bilingual Counselor and Educator. This position is part-time with benefits (30 hours a week). The person in this role will specifically provide counseling, at our downtown and mobile sites, for children and adults who have experienced sexual violence. The person in the role will also provide primary prevention education programming.

A Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences or related field is required, Master’s degree preferred. Experience in counseling and public speaking preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Parent Educator

YWCA Lancaster is currently seeking qualified candidates to work with families that are involved with Lancaster County Children and Youth Social Services Agency.  As a Parent Educator, you would be teaching and modeling parenting skills, identifying the parent’s needs of household management, helping to re-build self-esteem, identifying and promoting life management skills, and assist in the building of a support system for the family.  This is done through a personalized intervention.

This is a part-time paid position.  All training materials are provided and hours are flexible, but will include two Wednesday meetings per month from 9am-11am.  Parenting experience strongly preferred (natural, foster or adoptive).  Additional qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong documentation skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.  Additional training or experience in child welfare and/or child development is helpful.  Court testimony may be required. Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred.

FT Teacher in our Childcare Program

The YWCA Lancaster is looking for a FT Teacher in our Childcare Program.  This position provides age-appropriate educational instruction to children in Early Head Start and Pre-K Counts.  The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is required.  This position starts at $12.00/hour – actual rate of pay depends on education and experience.  Excellent Benefits.

Part-Time Before & After School Childcare Staff - Millersville

YWCA Lancaster is looking for PT Before and After School Staff.  Our School Age Childcare operates in Millersville from 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – various shifts are available.  Minimum of 9 credits in Elementary Education, SACC Credential, or 2,500 hours of childcare experience is required. Position starts at $12.00/hour – actual rate of pay depends on education and experience.
