Engage for Change Community Forum

What do equity and justice look like in education?

Based on findings in YWCA Lancaster’s Equity Profile of Lancaster County, Lancaster faces an equity gap, directly affecting the public school system. Does Lancaster County provide an equitable education compared to the rest of the state? What is equity and justice in education?

Join YWCA Lancaster CEO, Stacie Blake, Keith Miles, Superintendent of the School District of Lancaster, and Ty Bair, co-founder of Advantage Lancaster and Reynolds Middle School social studies teacher for an insightful community forum where panelists will discuss what equity and justice look like in the educational system and ways we can work together to drive change in our community.

The forum takes place this Thursday, 3/14, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Millersville University’s Student Memorial Center, Room 114. We hope to see you there!
